Bastille Days, Milwaukee’s popular french festival and one of the nation’s largest french-themed celebrations, returns to downtown Milwaukee’s Cathedral Square Park.The free four-day bash attracts over 250,000 visitors annually who enjoy live music, an international marketplace, chef and wine demos, French and Cajun cuisine, roaming busker entertainment and a signature 43-foot Eiffel Tower replica offering hourly light shows.
Head to Port Washington on Saturday for “The World’s Largest Outdoor One-Day Fish Fry.” Nine civic, verteran, fraternial and service volunteer organizations are operating the stands which will be selling a variety of foods in addition to fish. The festivities includes a gigantic parade, live music on five stages, arts and crafts show, car show, run/walk, helicopter rides and fireworks. Get an early start on the celebration on Friday night with carnival rides and food.
Set up your tent and soak in four days of music and art in the Dells! Over 40 musicians from the midwest will be showcased throughout the event. Camping sites available at Edge O Dells Resort.
Celebrate summer by lake in Port Wing on Saturday. Lake Superior Day kicks off with a weekly Saturday Market. Throughout the day speakers and displays will highlight various lake related topics. Other activities include a lunchtime Fish Boil, wetland hike, paddle-boarding at Port Wing Marina and kayaking on the late. The event concludes with a bonfire and stargazing at the marina.
Birchwood invites you to “The Bluegill Capital of Wisconsin” this weekend! Celebrate a great weekend with a fishing contest, medallion hunt, softball tournament, children’s games, tractor pull, street dances and a classic car parade. Other events includes a beer garden, fish fry, bake sale , fun-run music and more.
The party continues for the 40th year in Rhineland at the annual Hodag Country Festival! Again this year, some of the biggest names in country music will be playing the in the Northwoods. Music acts will play in the outdoor amphitheater, rain or shine!
