Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis

August 3-August 13

The 2017 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, will take place Thursday, August 3 through Sunday, Aug. 13. The annual Wisconsin State Fair is the state’s largest agricultural showcase, offering endless family entertainment at a phenomenal value. The Fair features the exciting SpinCity Amusement Ride and Game Area, 30 FREE stages, educational exhibits, shopping, and hundreds of food and beverage options.

Watertown Riverfest

August 10 – August 13

A music, food and entertainment extravaganza in beautiful Riverside Park in the center of the city. Cars are driven in from all across the country. Live music throughout the weekend, nationally renowned bands, regional acts as well.  Enjoy fireworks, carnival midway games, and rides, a taste of Watertown all four days. Craft show Saturday and Sunday, Classic auto show with over 350 vehicles on Sunday.

The Shakedown, Oshkosh

August 11 – August 13

The Shakedown is Wisconsin’s largest and oldest traditional hot rod and custom multi-day car show.  Check out cars, mini bikes, vintage bicycles, vintage campers, famous hot rods and more. The event features a huge music festival featuring over 20 bands each year.  Great food and beverages are serviced from breakfast until late night.  A few years back, a friend labeled it “Summer Camp For Hot Rodders” and for many, that is exactly what it is.

Irishfest

August 11 – August 13

A festival for the whole family with Irish & Celtic music, food and activities and more from all over Ireland, Scotland, and the U.S. Kids will enjoy the Wee Folks area with games and activities, sheep shearing, bagpipe demonstration, Irish dogs, puppet theater, music, and contests. Soak up the all things Irish in the Cultural tent with traditional music, Irish dancers, and cultural exhibits. The event features an Arts Tent with baking demonstrations, speakers on Irish history, bodhran, tin whistle, and Irish language lessons.

Summer Set Music & Camping Festival

August 11-August 13

Summer Set Music & Camping Festival is the ultimate summer experience. A 3 day celebration of everything we love about summer, featuring a unique blend of artists on multiple stages in an incredible northern Wisconsin setting. Music starts Friday at 2:30pm and runs until midnight on Friday and Saturday and until 10:15 on Sunday. Afterparties are held on-site and will begin at midnight, and go until 2:30 am on Friday and Saturday. A VIP wristband INCLUDES access to the afterparty.

Pig in the Pines, St. Germain

August 4-August 5

Pig in the Pines celebrates bacon, BBQ and bands with food and live music all day and night in St. Germain. Headlining bands are ABBA Salute(Friday), HYDE and Jack Russell’s Great White(Saturday). The pig themed feast includes pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ, ribs, pork kabobs, bacon wrapped appetizers and ham sandwiches. Fun activities are available for all ages!

National Mustard Day, Middleton

National Mustard Day is celebrated annually at the National Mustard Museum on the first Saturday in August. It is a fun-filled day for the whole family and has traditionally included music, games and other entertainment with hot dogs, brats, FREE mustard sampling, and more. The Mustard Museum has been the official sponsor of this event since 1991.

Wisconsin Valley Fair, Wausau
