Death’s Door Barbeque

Who doesn’t like barbeque? You’re invited to the  beautiful Washington Island on Friday and Saturday, August 25th & 26th, 2017 for the 6th annual Death’s Door Bar-B-Q (DDBBQ) at the Washington Island Airport. Admission is free and the event features arts & crafts, kids’ activities, live music, food vendors, and of course – Barbequed Chicken, Pork, Pork Ribs, and Beef Brisket as sold by the DDBBQ competitors. Bluegrass in the Pines Festival

Annual Bluegrass in the Pines festival will feature the main Stage Show Tent, Saturday music Workshops and food and drink vendors. Mad Gael Irish Music Fest

This two-day music festival features a wide range of performs that will keep you dancing!  The event features a Guinness VIP area, Irish Craft Beers, Whiskey Tasting Area, Irish Taste of Madison, and the Gaelic Games featuring the Hurling Club of Madison, Madison Gaelic Football Club and more.  Mad Gael Productions celebrates the culture of the “Clan na Gael” through Music, Art & Dance.

Grill Games Festival, Kenosha

HarborPark’s Celebration Place, 54th Street and Ring Road – Kenosha, WI 53140

This free two-day festival is Kenosha’s biggest BBQ festival and features live entertainment throughout the day, activities for the kids, beer garden, and a chance to taste some of the finest BBQ around. Watch the Kansas City Barbecue Society National BBQ Circuit Teams compete for their state prizes, learn their secrets, taste and purchase BBQ, and vote for your favorite teams. Free admission and donations welcome. Proceeds benefit the scholarship foundations of the Kenosha YMCA and the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce.
