Summer vacation is almost here and there’s a three-day weekend coming our way…  If you’re looking for affordable, old-fashioned family fun, check out these following fests across Wisconsin:

Events include parades, talent show, live music, softball & horseshoe tournaments, carnival rides & more!  Arcadia is located in Trempeleau County, just about midway between La Crosse & Eau Claire.  Where to Stay: the RKD Motel is located right on Main Street in Arcadia.  Nearby you’ll also find the Oak Park Inn & Historic Hopkins House in Whitehall and both the Clark House B&B and Sonic Motel in Galesville.

World’s Largest Brat Fest in Madison, May 22-25
Free music, rides for the kids + delicious (and only $1.50 each!) Chocolate Fest 2009, Burlington, May 22-25

Onalaska Sunfish Days, May 21-25
