For 30 years, Gallery Night and Day has united downtown as Milwaukee’s two-day premier art event for both the experienced art connoisseur and most beginning admirer. This premier art event in Milwaukee for gallery hopping and art viewing and showcases 50 venues throughout downtown. Admission is free to all participating venues during event hours. Presented quarterly by the Historic Third Ward Association.
Washburn Board Across the Bay
The Washburn Board Across the Bay Race is a unique Stand Up Paddle Board event that takes place on Lake Superior on Chequamegon Bay between Washburn and Ashland, Wisconsin. You can choose between the 3-mile, the 7-mile, or the 14-mile race. Washburn Board Across the Bay honors the life of Tom Blake; a native son of Washburn and one of the world’s well known long board surfers.
Enjoy complimentary wine and farm market food tasting, pick-your-own tart cherries, free guided tours, live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, activities for kids, and more. Participate in one of the unique contests including Cherry Pie Eating, Cherry Donut Eating, and the popular Cherry Pit Spit!
Bring your friends and family, and join the fun at the 2017 Salmon-A-Rama! The celebration runs all week long. This weekend enjoy live entertainment, family events, fish boil, pig roast, smelt fry and more. Sunday is “The Big Celebration”; bring the kids to play in the bouncy houses and participate in other kid friendly activities and the large raffle for all event participants will take place.
The Manitowoc County Historical Society invites you and your family to celebrate the legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder on the 150th anniversary of her birth – right here in Wisconsin! Activities from the Little House stories come to life through activities such as Pioneer Games and Toys at the Shadyside School, pioneer chores at the Sorenson House, Morse Code in the Collins Depot and more!
You’re invited to Hudson’s annual RiverFest celebration. This six-day event celebrates the river while recognizing the need to preserve its health and beauty. Take a ride on the river Friday night at the RiverFest Boat Cruise. Saturday activities include the Kids Fishing Derby, Civil War Encampment & Ice Cream Social and more. Sunday events include the Native American Celebration, Cultural Booths and a Water Ceremony.
